Vladimir
Filatov

Born in 1958 in
Berdiansk, Ukraine.
Graduated from Kiev State Institute of Physical culture and sports, worked as a doctor of
medical and physical culture. At the same time he worked in the creative studio of
professor V. Suchenko. Vladimir Filatov unveiled monuments "A physical therapy
emblem" in 1982 and "Surgery" in 1984.
From 1985 till 1990 he had been taking experience from professors V. Borisenko, I.
Makagon, V. Shvetsov and academician V. Borodai in the Ukrainian Arts Academy. His
graduation work "Afghan Golgofa" now is keeping in Kiev-Pechersk Lavra.
In 1990 Filatov took part in the exhibition of the USSR Arts Academy and entered Painters
Union of USSR in 1990.
Filatov took part in republican, national and international exhibitions and competitions.
His sculptures are in the national and state galleries of Ukraine, in private collections
of Ukraine and other countries. |
